These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website stayatlailakashmir.com and any booking, enquiry, or stay made with Laila Kashmiri Stay, a paying guest house located in Dalgate, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. By submitting an enquiry, making a booking, or checking in at our property, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1Definitions

"We", "us", "our", or "Laila Kashmiri Stay" refers to the guest house and its operators. "You" or "Guest" refers to any individual who makes an enquiry, booking, or stays at the property. "Website" refers to stayatlailakashmir.com. "Voyara Trails" refers to our travel and tour partner for Kashmir sightseeing packages.

2Bookings & Enquiries

• All submissions made via the website's enquiry or booking form are treated as requests and are confirmed only after we contact you directly via WhatsApp, phone call, or email.
• A booking is considered confirmed only once we have verbally or in writing (WhatsApp/email) confirmed your dates, room/package, and pricing — not simply upon form submission.
• You are responsible for ensuring the name, phone number, email, and travel dates you provide are accurate. We are not liable for booking issues arising from incorrect information supplied by you.
• Room and package availability shown on the website is indicative and subject to real-time confirmation, as our calendar is manually updated.

3Check-in / Check-out

• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability and may attract an additional charge, communicated to you at the time of request.
• Guests are requested to inform us in advance of significantly early arrival or late arrival (e.g. late-night flights) so we can plan accordingly.

4Identity Verification

In accordance with applicable regulations for guest accommodations in Jammu & Kashmir, all guests are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, or driving licence) at check-in. Foreign nationals may be required to provide passport and visa details as per local regulatory requirements. Guests who cannot provide valid ID may be refused check-in without refund.

5Pricing & Payments

• Room and package prices displayed on the website are indicative starting prices and may vary based on season, occupancy, and dates of stay.
• Final pricing is confirmed directly with you via WhatsApp, call, or email before a booking is treated as confirmed.
• A 50% advance payment of the total booking amount is required to confirm and hold your reservation, particularly during peak season (April–October).
• Payment instructions (bank transfer, UPI, etc.) will be shared directly with confirmed guests — we do not process card payments on the website itself.
• The remaining 50% balance is payable at check-in, unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of booking confirmation.

6Cancellations & Refunds

Because Laila Kashmiri Stay is a small, family-run property with limited rooms, cancellations directly affect our ability to accommodate other guests. Bookings are held against a 50% advance payment. Our cancellation policy on that advance is as follows, unless a different policy is explicitly communicated to you in writing at the time of booking:

Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of confirmed cancellation. Please confirm the specific cancellation terms applicable to your booking with us directly via WhatsApp or email before making any advance payment, as terms may vary for peak-season or package bookings.

7No-Shows & Early Departure

If you fail to arrive on your confirmed check-in date without prior communication, your booking will be treated as a no-show and the 50% advance paid will be forfeited. If you choose to depart earlier than your confirmed check-out date, no refund will be issued for unused nights unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8Kashmir Tour Packages

• Tour packages listed on our website (Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg, Dal Lake experiences, etc.) are offered in partnership with Voyara Trails, our travel operator.
• Itineraries, inclusions, vehicle type, and pricing are indicative and may change due to weather conditions, road closures, local restrictions, or availability at the time of travel.
• Any changes to a confirmed itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, landslides, government restrictions) will be communicated as early as possible, and reasonable alternatives will be offered where feasible.
• Guests are responsible for being ready at agreed pickup times; delays caused by the guest may shorten the day's itinerary without compensation.

9House Rules & Guest Conduct

• Guests are expected to treat the property, our staff, and other guests with respect and courtesy at all times.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, if any. Please check with staff on arrival.
• Outside visitors are not permitted in guest rooms without prior information to the host, for the safety and privacy of all guests.
• Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or any activity that disturbs other guests or the neighbourhood is not permitted.
• We reserve the right to refuse check-in, or to require a guest to vacate the property without refund, in cases of misconduct, illegal activity, damage to property, or violation of these house rules.

10Damage to Property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room, furniture, fixtures, or common areas of the property during their stay, whether caused by themselves or their visitors. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest at actual cost.

11Liability & Force Majeure

• Laila Kashmiri Stay is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought onto the property by guests.
• We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes to your stay or tour itinerary caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, curfews, strikes, government restrictions, power or internet outages, or other force majeure events.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your booking or stay is limited to the amount actually paid by you for that specific booking.

12Referral Program

Guests who sign in via our website may generate a referral link to share with others. Referral credits/counts are tracked for informational and goodwill purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time, and any benefits associated with it (if introduced in future) will be communicated separately.

13Reviews & User Content

If you submit a review or feedback through our website, you grant us the right to display it publicly on our website and marketing channels. We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews that are abusive, spam, fraudulent, or unrelated to a genuine stay/enquiry, while striving to keep the review section authentic and unedited otherwise.

14Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, videos, logos, and package descriptions — is the property of Laila Kashmiri Stay (or used under licence from Voyara Trails, where applicable) and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

15Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with a booking, stay, or use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.

16Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our policies or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
